Kasol Itinerary For Weekend, Party, Treking, Camping | 2, 5, & 10 Day Itinerary

Nowadays, Kasol has become one of the most popular tourist and traveler destinations because it’s blessed with everything. Whether you are a beginner or advanced trekker, or a party animal, or a weekend traveler, Kasol is a perfect location for everyone.

Especially in the summer, this place is a perfect escape for the peoples of Delhi and Chandigarh because of the easy connectivity.

I had been to Kasol so many times, so i know this place very much. In this post i am going to share a perfect Itinerary for every kind of persons. You can check here some of my best captured pictures of Kasol.

Kasol Weekend Trip Itinerary | 2 Days Trip

Kasol is the best option for the weekend trip for the peoples of Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Chandigarh, and other neighboring cities.

If you work in a company where you get Saturday and Sunday off, then this is the best Itinerary for you. But if you get only one week off, then you can ask for leave on Saturday.

Take the bus for Kasol on Friday Evening if possible. You can easily find buses for Kasol till 8 to 9 PM. Check here, How To Reach Kasol.

Or if you are planning the group trip, then you can hire or rent a car.

This way, you will reach Kasol on Saturday morning.

Day 1, Saturday:

Rent a place in Kasol and get fresh. You can find all kinds of stay in your budget.

Then visit Kasol Market, where you can eat whatever you want.

Things To Do

  • Kasol is famous for its cafes; there are so many famous hippie cafes where you can enjoy all-day.
  • Take a walk to Chalal bridge, explore the Chalal Forest area, and sit beside the River Parvati.
  • You can also hike to the Chalal village, which is just around 3 Km.
  • Go to Maniran Sahib Gurudawara, which is around 4 KM.

Day 2

Get up early in the morning and explore the other locations of Parvati valley.

But first, I will recommend booking the bus tickets for Delhi for the Evening. You can find many travel booking shops in Kasol. This way, you know exactly when you have to return back to Kasol.

Things You Can Explore

  • Trek to Grahan Village: if you start the trek in the early morning, you can trek up and down in 7 to 8 hours. The way to Grahan is from Kasol, and Hiking is the only way to reach.
  • Go To Kalga: To reach here you have to book a cab from Kasol, or you also have the option of the Public Bus. But waiting for the bus can take some time. Kalga is a beautiful village, and from there, you can also trek to Pulga and the fairy forest.
  • Go To Tosh: It is also a very famous destination in Parvati Valley. Popular for cafes and beautiful scenic views of mountains.
  • Go To Kheergnaga: If you are good at Hiking, then you can also Trek to Kheerganga from Kalga. From Kalga, it will take you around 8 hours to trek up and down.

These places are the best to enjoy the snowfall In Kasol during winter.

In the Evening, take a cab from Barshini and come back to Kasol to take your overnight bus to Delhi.

Kasol Fun Trip Itinerary | Trekking, Camping, Party | 3 to 5 Days

Day 1

Stay at Kasol, enjoy the nearby places and cafes. kasol is famous for its cafes, and there are also so many good restaurants & bakeries where you can have some delicious food. In the Evening, you can go to Chalal Bridge and sit on the rocks beside the River Parvati and enjoy the sunset.

Day 2

Hike to the Chalal Village, which is just 2 to 3 Km. You can find so many riverside campsites there. You can book a camp according to your preference. Spend the day in the cafes, as there are so many good cafes. One such cafe is Freedom Cafe. At night do a bonfire and enjoy the night under the Sky.

Day 3: 

Parties in the Chalal are very common, go to any good cafe and ask if there is any party happening. If you are lucky, then definitely you can find a party nearby. If not, then I will recommend coming back to Kasol. Here you can find any good cafe or club to party.

Day 4:

Trek To Grahan or Kheerganga: These are two very famous intermediate levels of trekking destinations near Kasol. You can trek to any of these two places and enjoy one night there.

Day 5:

If you choose Grahan, then the next day, come back to Kasol and take a cab or bus for the Barshini. From here you can go to Kalga, Pulga, Kheerganga or Tosh.

If you choose Kheerganga, then the next day go to Tosh, and enjoy one night there.

A Complete Kasol Trek Itinerary | 9 to 10 Days

If you are an advanced hiker, then this Itinerary for you where you can cover all of the Treks near Kasol.

Day 1:

Don’t go to Kasol from your hometown; instead, take the bus or Cab for Buntar. From there you can find the bus for Jari, which is around 8.5 KM.

From jari Take the Cab for the Malana Village. There are no buses on this route. You have to trek a few KM from the point where the Cab will drop you to reach Malana Village. You can find some places to stay in the outer area of Malana.

Day 2: 

From Malana Village, go to Waichin Valley, you can easily trek to Waichin Valley from Malana. It will be around 4 to 5 KM of the trek.

Day 3:

Take a cab from Waichin Valley to Jari. From there you can find Cab or bus to Kasol. Rest and enjoy one day in Kasol.

Day 4:

Trek to the Grahan Village, which is around 8 to 10 KM from Kasol. Grahan is a small beautiful village surrounded by beautiful mountains. But don’t stay at Grahan, from there go to Pulgi which is just around 1 KM from Grahan.

Day 5:

There are three waterfalls nearby Pulgi; I will definitely recommend going there. Waterfalls are not very far so you can cover them within 3 to 4 hours. There Is still plenty of time left, so you can easily come back to Kasol the same day.

Instead of staying in Kasol, trek to the Chalal Village, which is around 2 to 3 KM from Kasol. There You can find tents, Homestays, or cafes to stay.

Day 6: 

You are trekking continually for some days, so you can take a break of one day. You can enjoy a day in Chalal; there are so many cafes in Chalal to explore.

Day 7:

Take a cab from Kasol for Barshini. From there, go to the Kalga Village and book a stay. From there, go for a small trek to Pulga Village and the fairy forest.

Day 8:

The next day go to the Kheerganga trek and stay there for one night. Kheerganga is the best spot to do Stargazing.

Day 9:

Come back to Barshaini, and from there, go to the Tosh and enjoy one day there.

Advance Trekker Itinerary

If you are done with the Intermediate level of trekking and want to challenge yourself by going for some really tough Trek. Then you can go for Sirpass and Pin Parbati Pass Trek.

SirPass Trek will take around 7 to 8 days from Grahan.

Pin Parbati Pass trek will take around 4 to 5 days from Grahan.

If you are an experienced trekker and have a group, then you can cover these treks by yourself.

If you have never done any difficult trek like this, then the best option for you to join a trekking group or buy a package.
