How To Reach Kasol From Different Parts Of India | A Complete Guide

Kasol is a very known Hippie village of Himachal Pradesh situated in the Kulu DIstrict. It is well connected with all kinds of transportation, so anyone can easily reach here without so much struggle. In this article, I am going to tell you how you can reach here from different parts of India.

From Delhi To Kasol

By Bus: Buses for Kasol runs from different places of Delhi, but most of them are from Kashmiri Gate and Majnu ka Tila. You can book your ticket online from any travel booking website like Redbus, Paytm, etc., or you can also directly go to the bus stop. There are very few direct buses from Delhi to Kasol; most of them will drop you at the Bhuntar Bus stop. From there you can book a private taxi or come to the Bhuntar bus stop to take a bus to Kasol.

By Flight: You can take a flight from Delhi to the Kullu Airport; from there, you can book a private taxi for the Kasol, or come to the Bhuntar bus stop to get a bus.

By Rail: Reaching Kasol from the Rail is not recommended as the nearest Railway station, Joginder Nagar, is not well connected to Delhi. Even from the Joginder Nagar Railway Station, Kasol is around 124 Km of distance. 

Chandigarh To Kasol

By Bus: You can go to the Chandigarh Sector 43 bus stand, from there so many buses leave for the Kulu. The Bus will drop you at Bhuntar (29 Km Before Kasol ), from there you can take a private taxi or public Bus for Kasol. You can book your ticket online from any travel booking website or directly reach the bus stop.

By Flight: it is the fastest way to reach Kasol; just book a flight from Chandigarh for Kulu. From there you can find taxis for Kasol.

By Rail: The nearest Railway station, Joginder Nagar, is not well connected to Chandigarh. Even from the Joginder Nagar Railway Station, Kasol is around 124 Km.

Amritsar To Kasol

By Bus: You can take Bus going to Manali from the Amritsar bus stop. The Bus will drop you at Bhuntar (29 Km Before Kasol). From there you can take any taxi or public Bus for Kasol.

By Flight: Book a flight for Kullu airport from Amritsar, and from there find local transportation for Kasol. 

By Rail: The nearest Railway station, Joginder Nagar, is not directly connected to Amritsar railway station. So the train route is not recommended.

Ludhiana To Kasol

By Bus: Just go to the Samrala Chowk Ludhiana, from there you can find buses toward Manali. It will drop at Bhuntar, and from there, you can take any local transportation for Kasol. 

By Flight: You can book flight tickets from Ludhiana to Kullu airport. But there is no direct flight, so first, you have to come to the New Delhi airport, and from there, you will reach Kullu Airport. From Kullu, take any private transportation for Kasol.

By Rail: The nearest Railway station, Joginder Nagar, is not directly connected to Ludhiana railway station. So the train route is not recommended.

Mumbai To Kasol

By Bus: There is no direct bus from Mumbai to Kasol, so you can come to Delhi by Bus, Flight, or Rail. And in Delhi, go to the Kashmiri gate or Majnu Ka Tila to get Bus for Bhuntar. From there, take any transportation for Kasol.

By Flight: There is no direct flight from Mumbai to Kasol. You have to change Flight at New Delhi airport for Kullu.

By Rail: There is no direct train from Mumbai to Kasol, but you can come to Delhi by train, And from here you take any Bus or Flight for the Kullu (Bhuntar). After that, take any private or public transportation for Kasol.

Hyderabad To Kasol

Hyderabad to Delhi or Chandigarh: As there is no direct connectivity between Hyderabad and Kasol so first you have to come to Delhi or Chandigarh. To come here, you can take a train or Flight.

“Delhi or Chandigarh” To Bhuntar: You can take a direct Bus for Bhuntar from Delhi or Chandigarh. Or you can also take a Flight to Kullu Airport.

Bhuntar To Kasol: From Bhuntar, Kasol is around 28 Km, so just take any private or public transportation from there for Kasol.

From Mandi To Kasol

You can easily find Bus for the Bhuntar from Mandi; after reaching Bhuntar, take a bus or taxi for the Kasol.

If you do not want to wait for Bus then you can easily find taxis for the Bhuntar or Kasol. But this can be a little expensive.

Dehradun To Kasol

The best and cheapest way to reach Kasol from Dehradun is by Bus; you can take the direct Bus to the Kullu from the Dehradun bus stop. After reaching Kullu, take a bus or taxi for Kasol.

You can also take a Flight from the Dehradun to Kullu airport, but because there is no direct connectivity, so you will first come to Delhi, and from there, you have to change Flight for Kullu.

Travel Time By Bus: 14 to 15 Hours (12 to 13 hours for Kullu + 1 to 2 hours to reach Kasol from Kullu)

Manali To Kasol

If you want to save little money, then just take Bus from Manali for Bhuntar, and from there take another bus for Kasol.

If you prefer time over money, then take a direct taxi from Manali to Kasol. 

Shimla To Kasol

The cheapest way to reach Kasol from Shimla is by Bus, simply take Bus from Shimla for the Bhuntar and from there take another bus for Kasol.

But as the public buses are timely so you may have to wait a little long, so if you want to save time, then book a taxi between Shimla to Kasol, but it will be a little expensive.

Dharamshala To Kasol

Take a bus from the Dharshala for the Kullu, and from there, take another bus for the Kasol. This is the cheapest way to reach Kasol from Dharamshala.

Or you can book a direct car or taxi, but it will be a little expensive.

Bir Billing To Kasol

To reach Kasol from Bir Billing, it will take around 6 to 7 hours. If you are planning to come by Bus then the Bus will drop you at Bhuntar, and from there you have to take another bus for Kasol.

But if you are coming by taxi, then you can directly go to the Kasol. It can be a little time-saving.
